Come to Think of It......Who is Teaching and Who is Learning????

Teach Quotes, Children Quotes, Pictures, Learning Quotes, Pictures, Inspirational Quotes, Pictures and Motivational Thoughts.
If a child can’t learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn. ~Ignacio Estrada

Really, isn’t this so true — quite often we to teach and guide our children in the direction of our vision which is colored by our lenses… By doing,it is possible the we can  fail to see the child’s potential – Open up – Remove the lenses and understand the child’s talent…. Each child is a genius in his or her own way…. Recognize and harness those talents……

  1. Dantaya,
I adore this quote. I do believe that teachers get so caught up in their lesson plans and their thoughts that they forget that not all children learn in the same way. It is our responsibility to learn how each child learns and teach them in that way. We are not all visual learners or tactile learners. We must give each lesson in different ways so all children can learn. Thank you for this quote!

I also wanted to share with you what I posted on my blog:
I would also like to thank Dantaya Smith for her resources and knowledge that she brought to the class. I enjoyed her views and thoughts on her blogs. I also learned a lot from her through our journey looking at early childhood in different parts of the world. I enjoyed reading her blogs and the knowledge she had gained. Dantaya will continue to do great things in our field. I know children and families are lucky to have such a dedicated individual working for them and on behalf of them. I wish you continued success.

  2. Hello Dantaya,

The process of learning can be an endless journey. Therefore, as adults, we must ensure a child is able to learn through social experience. Social experiences determines how a child is able to learn in various steps. The quote featured in your presentation explains that it is ok for a child to take the lead in child-adult interaction.
