This is one of my favorite books because I always believed that my toys would come to life when I left the room just like the "Toy Story" movies. I longed for a play-mate as the only child for 8 years. When my first little brother was born, I would have preferred the toys being alive more than him crying all night:)
I love children's books. Children's books allow young readers to explore the world of imagination. Reading books to young children improves word pronunciation, phonological awareness and social concept. Only just, I began working with a whole new group of Preschoolers. Even though, I never heard of this story before, I am interested on reading this book with my students.
I love this book too :) I use to believe the same thing about my toys, I use to think that they protected me from the boogie man when I went to sleep too, LOL. I just bought my daughter this book and she loves it as well.
